    Saturday, August 4, 2012 Club members welcomed the World Harmony Runners with handmade torches and peace doves.  Deputy Mayor Redon presented a proclamation claiming August 4 World Harmony Run Day in Rochester.  Afterwards the runners and Club members enjoyed ice cream sundaes.   

     

     

    Friday, March 2, 2012 Boys & Girls Clubs of Rochester held a bookfair at Barnes & Noble at the Mall at Greece Ridge.  The event included a story of the Lorax, a craft table, and raffle of 10 Lorax stuffed animals.

    Sandra Doorley Takes Oath Of Office

    On Friday, December 30th, Sandra Doorley, Monroe County's first female District attorney was sworn in at the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester on 500 genesee street.

     

     

      Kid's day is September 17th from 11 am - 3 pm here at 500 Genesee Street

       

      

     

     

     

     

     

                        

    Thursday, June 9, 2011 the Boys & Girls Clubs of Rochester celebrated the end of this year’s Accelerated Reading program at the annual dinner.  191 members read 9,357 books throughout the 2010 – 2011 school years.  Congratulations to all readers in the program!

     

     

     

          

     

    The Junior League of Rochester hosted a “Healthy Habits” event at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Rochester on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011. A special thanks goes out to the volunteers at the Junior League of Rochester for promoting and teaching healthy habits to our club members!
